The Department of Civil Engineering offers an under graduate degree program (B.Tech). This course is delivered by a group of well experienced and dedicated faculty members with the aim of implementing deep understanding of concept and providing practical knowledge to cope with ongoing industrial needs. The department is equipped with ample amount of instruments for various labs like Material Testing Lab, Hydraulics Lab, Geotechnical Lab, Survey Lab, Transportation Lab etc.
The students are trained with trending civil engineering based software by industry professionals for enhancing their skills. Besides providing classroom study, the faculty members accompany students to nearby construction sites for site visits and to industrial organizations for acquiring field practices as well as to visualize practical works. The Department also emphasizes on developing creative ability of students to handle the civil engineering challenges and enhance their capacity to adapt and solve problems.
